Dennis Buchheim - Senior Vice President and General Manager, IAB Tech Lab

Senior VP and GM of the IAB Tech Lab, he leads the overall product, engineering, and operations team. He previously was IAB SVP of Data & Ad Effectiveness, responsible for the Data Centre of Excellence and its work on consumer identifiers, data quality, industry/organization benchmarks, and other tools for data activation and broader automation. In parallel, he ramped the IAB efforts on measurement and attribution. Dennis has focused on digital advertising since 2002. Prior to joining IAB and Tech Lab, he secured high-profile positions at Yahoo and Microsoft. Before entering the ad space, Dennis designed and developed consumer and enterprise software products, led engineering for startup Actioneer, and co-founded and led product management and marketing at iHarvest (then acquired by Interwoven). Dennis has dual degrees in Computer Science and Business Economics from Brown University.

Mathieu Morgensztern - CEO France, Group M

Mathieu joined Group M as CEO France and WPP France Country Manager in the spring of 2018. Morgensztern is widely recognised as one of Europe’s brightest talents in digital marketing. He was most recently Managing Director, Europe of Accenture, leading the Marketing, Digital and Media consulting practice, dedicated to building the growth strategy of Fortune 500 European companies. Before joining Accenture, Morgensztern spent five years as CEO of Digitas for France and then for Europe. In 1996, Morgensztern founded Data Planet, a marketing agency specialising in data, analytics and digital marketing, which was sold to the Havas Group in 2000. Morgensztern then became CEO of Euro RSCG 4D and Isobar. Morgensztern also spent four years as Chairman of the French association of digital agencies (AACC).

Sylvia Tassan Toffola - Vice President, TF1 Publicité & President of SRI

A graduate of ISG and HEC, Tassan Toffola began her career with Aegis Media France, before joining TF1 Publicité from 2007 to 2013 tasked of Special Operations & Sponsoring (361), Digital and Development. In September 2013, she joined Dentsu Aegis Network, where she held the position of CEO of Amplifi France, the Group's trading and content media structure.

In March 2016, she was appointed Executive Vice President of TF1 Publicité, in charge of several teams (TV sales, Digital, Radio, Development France and International, and Live): she is responsible for the definition and deployment of commercial policy and the digital transformation of the Régie.

In 2018, she was elected President of the Union of Internet Regulators (SRI) and administrator of the Research Institute and Advertising Studies (IREP).

Sam Tingleff - CTO, IAB Tech Lab

Sam joined Tech Lab with the DigiTrust acquisition as a founding board member and volunteer CTO.

Prior to his role as CTO of Tech Lab he was in engineering leadership roles for nine years at Rubicon Project, where he helped to grow the business from an ad network optimization startup to an independent global leader in Real Time Bidding.

Sam has a BA in Communications from UC San Diego and an MBA from Cornell University.

Isabelle de Silva - President, French Competition Authority

Alumna of the French School of Administration (ENA), between 1999 and 2000 she worked at the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.

From 2005 to 2008, she was Deputy Reporter at the French constitutional Court. As government commissioner, she worked at the court of conflicts (2006-2009) and at the French Council of State (2000-2009).

From 2009 to 2011, she was legal director of the French Ministry of ecology, sustainable development, transport and housing.

After serving as member of the French regulatory Authority for press distribution (2012), and then as president of the Sixth subsection of the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State (2013), she became member of the French Competition Authority in 2014.

Adrien Thil - Head of Corporate Development, Smart

As Smart's Head of Corporate Development, Adrien is in charge of strategic partnerships and identification of external growth opportunities. He previously oversaw operations and sales and technical teams in France and internationally.

Adrien also assists Smart's publishers in their GDPR compliance and actively participates in various meetings on the Transparency & Consent Framework as part of IAB France, as well as in various organizations of the industry.

Adrien is a Telecomunication engineer graduate and began his career as a strategy consultant.

Jacques Serris - General Engineer, Conseil Général de l'Economie

General Engineer at the French General Council of the Economy (CGE) since 2010, he previously was Deputy Director and then Deputy Director General of several research centers, as well as Chairman of the Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy of the OECD.

From 1991 to 1999 he worked at the Ministry of Industry, then at the Ministry of Economy and Finance as Head of the Department of Innovation and Quality and Interministerial Delegate for Standardization.

He started his career at France Telecom, as sales manager at the operational management of telecommunications, then in space business at the direction of international and industrial affairs.

Former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure of the rue d'Ulm and Telecom ParisTech, he is knight of the national order of merit and knight of the Legion of Honor.

Gautier Picquet - CEO, Publicis Media France

Gautier Picquet began his career at Bertelsmann, spending nearly 10 years with Prisma Presse.

Joining Mindshare, for three years he led one of the media buying divisions and then the agency's luxury division. In 2007, Picquet founded the French diversification unit, Mindshare Performance, in charge of all special operations and Brand Content.

Picquet joined Zenith Paris (ZenithOptimedia Group - Publicis) in December 2008 as DGA (CEO since 2010) to support groups such as Nestlé, Toyota and the Caisses d'Epargne. In 2013, he was appointed COO of the ZenithOptimedia Group and headed all of the Group's subsidiaries and activities in France and represented the Group at UDECAM.

In 2016, Picquet was appointed CEO of Publicis Media, coordinating all the media agencies and media expertise centers of Publicis in France. Since November 2018 he is COO of Publicis in France.

Gautier chairs the CMPA, the CRTM and is a member of the Board of Médiamétrie.

Véronique Pican - VP, IAB France

Graduate of Neoma Business School, Veronique Pican began her career in 1989 in major media groups: L'Expansion, Libération, Axel Springer, and finally Express Roularta.
She's spent over 20 years at the service of audience and content monetisation, migrating business models to the pace of digitalization and diversification.
In 2010 she joined Mediacom (WPP group) as COO, which enabled her to understand the diversity of media agency professions as well as the business issues of brands.
She then ran Yahoo France for 3 years until 2016, when she became CEO of Ligatus France, the leading European solution for native advertising. She has been Vice President of IAB France since April 2018.

Pascal Lannoo - Digital Customer Experience Director, Oui.sncf

Graduated from UPEC and the NYC-based Columbia Business School, Pascal Lannoo soon transitioned towards Digital Marketing and digital transformation in France.
Working since 1999 in online sales structures (Uniondream, Clust...), he co-founded in 2003 one of the very first shared-economy websites, before becoming a consultant in e-commerce, e-merchandising and e-marketing in France and abroad (with Ford, Redcats, Advancia Negocia, IRSN, Cengeps, Lapeyre).
He is the co-author of the book "e-marketing & e-Commerce", published by Editions Vuibert in 2006. In 2011 he joined Voyages-sncf.com to lead the mobile activity of the company. In 2015 Lannoo was appointed Director of the Customer Experience on all digital channels.

 

Jean-Luc Chetrit, Managing Director, UDA

A graduate of the Lyon School of Management, he began his career in the commercial department of P & G. Joining Nestlé in 1994, he held, in France and Asia, increasing responsibilities both in Marketing and in the development of Key Accounts.
Back at P & G, he was appointed head of France and Europe sales management for several key accounts of the group; in 2009, Jean-Luc became Marketing Communications Director of P & G France and member of the Management Committee. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Advertisers (UDA).
In October 2012, he was appointed President of Carat France (a subsidiary of Dentsu Aegis Network), a pioneer in media consulting and the purchase of advertising space. In 2013, he became Vice President of UDECAM and President in 2015. In June 2017 he joined UDA as Managing Director.

Townsend Feehan - CEO, IAB Europe

Townsend Feehan is CEO of IAB Europe. Prior to joining IAB Europe, Townsend worked for Microsoft Legal & Corporate Affairs in Brussels and ran EU industry associations in the ICT, consumer electronics andbiotechnology sectors. She previously represented Microsoft on IAB Europe’s Board.

Townsend has an M. Phil. in European policy from the University of Edinburgh.

Frédéric Olivennes - President, IAB France

A graduate of HEC and holding a degree in Business Law, Frédéric spent most of his career in media groups before joining digital.

In television, within M6 group he directed for seven years the activities of music publishing, and then of thematic channels. He then spent another seven years in the public service, at Arte, as director of development, and then as Marketing and Communication Director for France Télévisions.

In radio, he directed Radio Classique and then Nostalgie. He also spent two years in strategy and organization consulting at Greenwich Consulting (E&Y).

After two years leading the the online media Télérama.fr, in 2015 his taste for digital took him to Weborama, the French data company leading the sector in Europe, where he's France's Managing Director.

Olivennes was elected President of IAB France in April 2018.

François Costa de Beauregard - Managing Director France, Criteo

Graduate of Sciences Po Paris, François Costa de Beauregard began his career as an Account Strategist at Google, before joining Keyade as Account Manager.
In 2010 he co-founded the agency Fifty-Five, specialized in programmatic media buying, data collection and analysis before joining Criteo in 2015 as Deputy General Manager France.
As part of his role, his goal is to further develop the strategic management of key accounts for the company while developing and strengthening the implementation of Criteo Sponsored Products within advertising agencies.
With more than 12 years of experience in the digital marketing sector, Costa's task is also to allow Criteo to expand and strengthen its Commerce Marketing ecosystem through a multi-product oriented approach.

Oliver Von Wersch - Founder and CEO, vonwerschpartner Digital Strategies & Consultant, Coalition for Better Ads

Oliver is a major leader in digital transformation for some of the top media companies in Germany and Europe. With an expertise in digital transformation built in over 20 years from all relevant parts of the digital value chain (product, tech, advertising, strategy), he has been working in senior management positions for over 10 years. Oliver founded the mobile internet business division of Tomorrow Focus AG (Burda) and the product management/strategy division at arvato mobile (Bertelsmann). He built up the mobile advertising business for Gruner + Jahr from 2008, leading it to German market leadership and taking up senior management roles while playing a master role in Gruner + Jahr's successful digital transformation. Until March 2017, he was responsible for all strategic relationships of Gruner + Jahr with Google, Facebook, Apple, and Amazon, and for some of the most important startup-businesses. Oliver held board positions in major German, and European industry associations. Oliver founded vonwerschpartner Digital Strategies in April 2017. Since August 2018, he was appointed to consult the Coalition for Better Ads in their European market outreach activities.

Mathieu Roche - CEO, ID5

Mathieu Roche is the CEO of ID5. He co-founded the business in 2017, after spending over 10 years at European data specialist Weborama, where he led international development and launched the DMP offering worldwide. During his time at Weborama, the company experienced exceptional growth, establishing itself in a dozen countries and growing from 3 to 30 million euros in revenues. With ID5, Mathieu Roche materialises his vision of helping Ad Tech and publishers to compete against the “walled gardens” who dominate digital advertising. ID5's mission is to create a shared identity infrastructure supporting the development of programmatic advertising for premium publishers and independent Ad Tech platforms. Mathieu graduated from Institut Commercial de Nancy and holds an Master of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Mark Timlin - Programmatic Trading Manager, BBC Worldwide

Mark oversees programmatic advertising across the BBC’s commercial digital portfolio in EMEA. Before joining BBC in 2015, Mark worked at Vivaki across all Starcom accounts out of the London office.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of Manchester.

Sébastien Soriano, President, ARCEP (French Telecom Authority)

Chairman of the French Telecom Regulator since 2015, he was BEREC Chair 2017 (the European telecom body) and is still BEREC Vice-Chair 2018. He has spent most of his career in digital policies, competition and telecoms regulation areas. Prior to his appointment, he also worked in the teams of French Ministers for Innovation and Digital Economy, and then Culture and Communication. He holds Master's degrees in Science from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, and in Telecom Engineering from Telecom ParisTech, as well as a Bachelor of Public Administration from Sorbonne University in Paris. Author of several papers on the challenges of regulators and law makers in the digital era, Soriano also teaches Regulation and digital economy in the Master's programme in Public Policy at SciencesPo.

Simon Baker, Head of Digital & Programmatic EMEA, Bloomberg

Simon Baker is the Head of Digital and Programmatic in EMEA for Bloomberg Media Group. He has also served as Business Development Director and Mobile Sales Director, and prior to Bloomberg, he led integrated sales and media efforts at Financial Times, MediaCom and MediaVest. With over 15+ years of international media experience, Simon remembers a pre-programmatic era where automated buying was a thing of distant dreams.

Rémi Lemonnier - Co-founder, Scibids

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts holding a PhD in machine learning, Rémi Lemonnier has 4 years of experience in developing successful algorithms for real-time bidding (RTB).

He's the co-founder of Scibids Technology, the next-generation bid engine, which uses state of the art machine learning to bring media buyers amazing cost per acquisition reductions. He is one of the handful of Doctors in artificial intelligence applied to real-time bidding.

Loïc de Saint Andrieu - Mobile Evangelist, Google France

Loïc de Saint Andrieu is responsible for Mobile at Google France.

He assists major groups on their mobile marketing strategy, notably on improving their customer experience. Since the launch of Google Assistant, he also accompanies brands on conversational experiences. Loïc started began at Google 9 years ago as an analyst.

Previously he started his career at DigitasLBi after graduating from Neoma Business School.

Cyril Bourgois - Head of Strategy, Digital Transformation and Innovation, Groupe Casino

Cyril joined Casino Group in 2014 as Deputy Director for Strategy and Planning before being appointed Group Operations Director at the end of 2015, in charge of Digital Transformation and Innovation. Since November 2018, he has also been Director of Group Strategy.

Before joining Casino Group, Cyril held various positions at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the State Investment Agency (APE).

Cyril graduated from HEC, Ecole Polytechnique and Université Paris VII (Humanities).

Nelly Pais-Pereira - Head of Data & Insights Europe, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield

Nelly Pais-Pereira is Head of Data & Insights Europe at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, where she's also in charge of Marketing for France.

Previously, she held various positions within the Group: Director of Strategic Marketing and Events Europe; European coordination director of the Corporate Marketing Europe team; director of shopping centers (Palais des Congrès, Ulis 2, and So Ouest, where she actively participated in the last phase of development and opening of the center in October 2012); assistant director at the St Sever center in Rouen.

She began her career as Assistant Marketing Manager at Les 4 Temps Shopping Center. Nelly Pais Pereira joined the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield group in April 2007. She is a graduate of ESCP (2008).

David Pironon - Chief Programmatic Officer, Smart ADServer

David Pironon is currently Chief Programmatic Officer at Smart, in which he had different roles : Sales Director, for Southern Europe and then COO. David previously worked for 5 years at Yahoo! France, holding the positions of Account Director and Business Development Manager, and for 2 years in the consulting firm Olivier Wyman. David holds a masters from HEC and graduated from Dauphine University.

Glenn Perera - Product Management Director EMEA, Integral Ad Science

As the EMEA Product Management Director at Integral Ad Science, Glenn is responsible for the development of Product Strategy for the region. Prior to this, he oversaw Supply Partnerships at Rocket Fuel EMEA in addition to developing market entry strategies for various US - based Ad Tech companies.

Julien Delhommeau - Senior Solution Consultant, AppNexus

Julien Delhommeau is Senior Solution Consultant at AppNexus, a Xandr Company. He is involved in several industry initiatives such as the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework and the ads.txt. Julien has a strong technical background combined with a deep market expertise that he leverages to help several European publishers and advertisers understanding and implementing industry trends as they emerge.

Michael Tuminello - VP Solutions and Partnerships, Innovid

Michael Tuminello is VP of Solutions and Partnerships at Innovid , working with clients, partners, and industry trade groups to help pioneer a new generation of video and TV marketing. He previously managed the development of rich media creative formats and authoring tools at Mediamind (now Sizmek) and Unicast, where he also managed the development of the ad server. Earlier experiences include design and development of an specialized IM client for Wimba (now part of education giant Blackboard), several years of hands - on experience as a multimedia designer and programmer, a few years playing in a band in NYC, and a stint teaching English in Japan.

Tim De Pauw - Head of Engineering, Zentrick

Tim De Pauw is Head of Engineering at Zentrick. Based in Belgium, Zentrick builds technology that empowers ad tech companies to deliver effective video advertising by aligning the needs of advertisers, publishers and viewers. Tim leads the engineering team that builds Zentrick's state-of-the-art video ad tech platform. He also co-authored the VAST 4.1 specification
